Happy Halloween!!

Halloween is my favorite holiday and today I went and took a bunch of photos of my cute new niece Hallie.  She looked "So cute it's scary" in her little orange and brown costume.  Then Katie and I went to The Cheesecake Factory and ate a delicious lunch.  It was such a fun way to spend the day on halloween.

As I was about to leave for work Jack started acting really weird.  He threw up three times.  He was crawling around on his belly instead of using his legs.  He scared me really bad.  I had to eat dinner before I left for work and I could not find him anywhere as I was making dinner.  He is normally right at my feet when I am cooking.  So I went looking for him and found him laying in the shower.  This is so incredibly unusual for him.  He hates the tub so much that when I give him a bath I have to force him into the tub.  It scared me even more that he was laying in the tub.  So I called T.C and asked him to come and sleep over at my house while I was at work and he agreed.  While doing all of this, Jack went missing again.  I searched the whole house and found him in my closet behind all of my clothes.  And, he had thrown up again.  Poor little boy had me really worried.  I left for work and was so scared that I cried the whole way to the ER.  While I was at work, T.C called me and gave me good news......Jack was acting better.  By the next morning, he was back to his normal active self.  I love my little buddy so much.  I honestly don't know what I would do without him.  He is such a sweetheart.  I am so glad that he is feeling better!

Meet Hallie Kate

I have a new niece named Hallie Kate.  She is so incredibly precious!  I am so happy that she is here safe and sound and is healthy.  What a sweet baby.  She was born last night Sept 28th at 2318.  We are so glad you are in our family.  We love you so much!

Weekend in AZ

This weekend I went to AZ for my cute nephew Caden's baptism.  What a precious kid.  I absolutely adore him.  On Friday we went to the water park.  What a blast that was.

Victoria B.C.

Today we took a ferry from Seattle to Victoria B.C. What a gorgeous day! We had a great time on the ferry. We played a card game called hand and foot the whole way there. I found out I have a great love for that game. I can't wait to play again.

Monday in Seattle

Today we enjoyed the morning just playing in downtown Seattle. Shopping and enjoying ourselves. I swear we walked 10 miles today just exploring. It was another gorgeous day here. I can't help but think how lucky we are to have such fantastic weather.
This afternoon, we went on a duck tour. It is in an old WW2 duck car/boat. It was so much fun and it was great to learn a lot more about Seattle.

I absolutely love city views and Seattle can't go wrong! It is such a beautiful city.

A lot of people live on Lake Union. It is cool to see all the houses on the lake. What a cool place to live.

Today was such a great day. So much fun to see the sights of Seattle. I thought this was a beautiful fall pic to end the day.

Football in Seattle

For those of you who know me well, you know I am a die hard football fan. We decided to get tickets to the Seahawks game while we were in Seattle. What an absolute blast!! They are not even my favorite team and I could not have enjoyed the game anymore than I did.....unless the guy in front of me would have fallen into a pit of fire never to return again. (he stood the entire game). So annoying!
The Seahawks won the game 28-0. It was so incredibly much fun. I loved our seats too, because everytime Seattle scored, all the guys around us would high five all of us. It was a rowdy section and tons of fun! This is a view of downtown Seattle from Quest field. It was such a beautiful day!

Saturday in Seattle

This morning we headed to the Pikes Place Market. We did a little walking around and then ate breakfast in a little place that was in the movie Sleepless in Seattle. It was a fun place that had great views of the water around Seattle. I absolutely love this little market, and if I lived in Seattle would frequent this place often. They had the most beautiful fruit and veggies for sale. I bought an apple to eat that was the biggest apple I have ever seen. I don't remember the name of it, but it was delicious! They also had avocados the size of pineapples. What a great place to shop!
After playing at the Market, we headed up to the Paramount theater and saw Wicked! I think that is one of my all time favorite shows. I don't think we could have had better seats! We were on the 2nd row in the middle! It was so fantastic! I don't think I can ever see a show again with seats farther back than row 1o. You just can't beat being that close to the action!

Girls Trip to Seattle

My friends Sharon, Joan, and Christy and I headed to Seattle for a much needed getaway. Two of our friends, Shasta and Courtney live in Seattle so we met them there. What a great trip! The weather was absolutely fantastic and we had a blast!

We got to Seattle at about 6 pm today and we first headed to our hotel. It was right in the center of downtown in the perfect location! Then we headed to a fantastic little Italian joint for dinner. Yummy!

After dinner, we headed out and played in the town and saw some sights. What a great night with great friends!

I wouldn't normally do this, but......

So I wouldn't normally talk about a dream in my blog post, but I just can't help myself. I know how people are. You start telling them about a dream you had and, snooze......they just immediately tune out. And I don't blame them. But this one was different. For one thing, I remember the dream so incredibly vividly, which is kind of unusual for me. Secondly, it is a little strange.
My dream starts out with my friends and I on a ski vacation. We are on the slopes having the time of our lives. I have my camelbak on my back, and inside of my camelbak is $100 in cash, my expensive new phone and credit cards. Well, I took a break while skiing down one of the hills and took my camelbak off.
I did not realize until later when I was trying to buy food that my camelbak was gone. I had left it on the slope where I had taken my break. I frantically tried to find it myself with no luck. I went to the lost and found of the ski resort and there was my camelbak. Money and everything still inside of it. I remember thanking the person and telling them how impressed I was that there were still honest people in this world.
I just thought it was such an interesting dream and wanted to remember it. Since this is my journal, into the blog it goes!
